NICK OR TREAT? SPOOKY HOWLOWEEN FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY AT JOHANNESBURG ZOO
Johannesburg, 20 October 2015: Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) is brewing up a great big cauldron of fun and surprises for kids and families at the annual How’loween celebration at Johannesburg Zoo(31 October 2015).
Starting 10 am, a feast of silly, spooky How’loween activities await kids and families as they pass through the bright orange entrance.
Expect a host of festive “Nick or Treat” activities and prizes galore all over the Zoo, as it is transformed for one day only into a magical How’loween wonderland. Why not try your hand at “Mystery Bowls” where you’ll have to rummage through three giant vats filled with icky, sticky, gooey things? Or join us at the friendly Jack-in-the-Box station, try a little Pumpkin Bowling, or take a bounce on the giantJumping Castle. Dress up in your most creative How’loween costumes and you could win a prize hamper!
Prepare for sing-a-longs with some of Nickelodeon favourites SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer and – for the first time ever – The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who’ll be flexing their muscles, and show casing their ninjutsu skills as only they know how!
More How’loween themed fun includes a movie screening of “Liar, Liar Vampire”, haunted zones, clowns, stilt walkers, balloon sculptures, and face painting.
To keep everyone on the right track, each child will get a helpful map with directions to all the activities, plus a goody bucket to fill with How’loween treats.
Pack your picnic baskets with tasty treats and enjoy a yummy night-time snack amongst the flickering fairy lights… or enjoy some tempting How’loween delicacies at Café Fino. And specially for sports fans, they’ve provided a giant screen where they can watch the Grand Final of the Rugby World Cup!
Tickets for Howl’oween are available at the gate and on Computicket priced R100 (adults), R60 (pensioners and kids 4-12).
