Three collection themes present Wolford-specific elements in AW 15/16 Bregenz/Vienna, May 2015 – Through the interplay of minimalist sensuousness, modern vitality and classic feminine elegance, the multifaceted nature of Wolford’s collection will be further expanded across all lines in autumn/winter 15/16. Based on the works of American photographer and psychologist Cliff Briggie, whose images
expressively capture the harmonious merging of water, colour and ice, the harmonious connection of established Wolford elements takes centre stage: within the framework of three collection themes, light, translucent materials, delicate designs and pastel tones are not only paired with functionality, clear structures and muted colours, but also interact with one another, intermingle and create a new dynamic which is both easy-going and seductive.
 
Minimalist sensuousness
 
 

Light, straightforward materials that feel like a soft, slinky second skin define the first collection theme. Furthermore, the products are truly captivating with their minimalist, sensual translucence, which gives them their seductive Wolford look and feel. The choice of colours is also muted: the palette of “winter pastels” includes mellow light and dark browns, as well as light green and grey shades alongside white peach.
Modern vitality
 

A modern striped design which toys with sheer and opaque elements makes an appearance in tried-and-tested Wolford material and scores points as a versatile all-rounder for both underwear and outerwear – this forms the central focus of the second collection theme. The matt styles are highlight a look with subdued yet rich shades of blue, grey and green.
Classic, feminine elegance

Dramatic red and classic black define the look for the third collection theme: especially opaque stockings in various materials and deniers, as well as luxurious bodywear benefit from the sensational rich contrast between matt and shimmering fabrics. In this theme, lavish embellishments such as beads, sparkling SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS or luxurious lace also enhance this exclusive look.
